A thorough look at the WO Redcat 51 - speedyGuideScope - ASIAIR - AZ-GTi EQ Deluxe - my opinions.. Hi, my name is Dr. Minos Kritikos, I'm from the beautiful island of Cyprus and I'm a trained Neuroscientist and Science teacher and I work part time at Camera Concepts and Telescope Solutions (CCTS) on Long Island, New York. My passion and hobby is Astrophotography.

We recently attended NEAF with CCTS, we had a blast and we returned with the William Optics Redcat 51, which we bought from William Yang - his show copy (thanks William!).

Jeff and Greta, the owners at CCTS, kindly loaned me the Redcat 51 for study and testing before we get the first big order in, as I'm the imaging specialist there, so I decided to have some fun and have a go at making a youtube video for anyone interested in this potentially awesome grab n' go scope.

All opinions are of my own accord, I'm not being payed to make this video or say anything, even though I do work for CCTS and do my best to support them - they are a family owned business that has been selling telescopes and cameras since 1985 - really good people who pride themselves for their service to the astronomy and photography community and with good reason too!

I'm also not a proffesional youtuber and this won't be your all singing - all dancing edited and polished video, so please accept my apologies for the audio noise that my USM lens is making, the focus breathing and the cartoon sounds that my 3 year old daughter is watching in the background at home. This is my first video, so I ask you kindly, go easy on me.

I hope you find this useful, I'm really just talking about and showing my current grab n' go imaging setup and how I go about my imaging, but mostly focusing on the Redcat 51. Wish me clear skies (not so common in our light-polluted New York skies) so I can get some data with the Redcat in order to make another video analysing the image quality with this scope.

Any questions, please feel free to ask, I'll do my best to answer quickly and accurately.

Cheers and clear skies, take care :)
Minos
