Egg Quality Discussion at Initial IVF Consult. I had my initial IVF consultation with Sher Fertility to discuss infertility and getting me pregnant. Due to my age and priority fertility treatments it makes sense to start with IVF at this clinic versus IUI at the previous clinic. We reviewed my medical history and my previous IVF protocol, which consisted of an estrogen primer and high dosage IVF meds (Gonal F and menopur). We discussed my overall reproductive health and of course we had the obligatory conversation about egg donation as an option.
