PM Modi hails Shah Rukh Khan's 'fantastic effort' to encourage people to vote

A month after Prime Minister Narendra Modi requested Bollywood celebrities to urge people to vote, Shah Rukh Khan took to Twitter to share a rap song titled 'Karo Matdan', in an attempt to encourage the citizens to exercise their right to vote in the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections. Needless to say, PM Modi was definitely impressed as he too took to his social media account to give a big thumbs up to the megastar. He tweeted, 'Fantastic effort! I am sure the people of India, especially first time voters will pay heed to your appeal and come out to vote in large numbers.'
