Understand your audience's input preference to keep their attention - visual, auditory, intellectual

People have a preference hierarchy for consuming content like in a presentation, video or audio. Some people are more interested in auditory input so they like music. Others prefer visual stimulation like videos, graph, charts. The auditory and visual preference people are the majority. And a few people prefer other forms like physical touch, smell, taste and intellectual stimulation where you read or listen people speaking and you need to think and create meaning. When you communicate be aware of the form your audience prefer.
