WATCH: Barr says Justice Department hasn't pursued voting rights lawsuits under Trump Attorney General William Barr told a House subcommittee Tuesday said that the Justice Department considers civil rights a priority.

Democratic Rep. Grace Meng of New York asked Barr whether the department under the Trump administration has brought any lawsuits under Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act to prosecute violations, noting that prior presidents have done so.
