We used a large syringe and experimented again with the acrylic pouring technique. Watch the satisfying video until the end to see the beautiful result! Friends, instead of instead of mixing the colors in a cup, this time we poured them all in a large syringe (we bought from a pharmacy). Before pouring the paint, we have mixed all the colors with floetrol and water (including the black base we use in the beginning), and a few drops of silicon fluid.
Here are the exact proportions:
1 oz of acrylic paint
1 oz of floetrol
0.5 oz of water
a few drops of silicon fluid (3-4)
Before pouring the colors on the canvas, we applied a layer of black acrylic paint (also prepped with water and floetrol) for the colors to slide better. It isn't visible in the video, but please note that in addition to the silicon fluid we added in the paint, we have also used a silicon spray at the end, which created the small cells in the final painting.
This was a cool experiment we'll definitely try again in the future. What do you think about it?
