Follow Up on Festus - Things Getting Better (1 of 3)

We have learned through experience that you cannot do everything all at once. We've learned that when people are so defeated like Festus was, it is only arrogant to imagine you can walk in and simply walk out having solved everything. Perhaps this is the point most helpers, including jigger killing organizations have erred. To truly help, it has to be done one step at a time. In the precious series we find a man lain on the floor, with nothing but covered in so many jiggers and pain. There's no family member present. In our follow up visit, we now find his sister there, and someone has donated a mattress for him and he's clean shaven. Things are still not looking good, but there's some progress; some blessings to count. The big challenge a part from jiggers are those blisters, but again, love would sort all that out.
