They really are buying out your car lease.... BUT they’re charging you for the difference or remaining payments. It may not seem like it, but your new monthly payment may have some of your old car being carried over into it as well! The only true way to tell how honest a dealership is being is to work out your most aggressive deal, THEN bring up your existing lease to see if they’ll “buy it out” without charging you the remaining amount.
