This expectancy data visualization shows average life expectancy in the African continent. Although it is said that all human life originated in Africa before spreading all over the World, African countries have one of the lowest life expectancies amongst all continents. South Africa is an anomaly from my perspective as I expected it to be at the top throughout with its good infrastructure and technological advancements. I guess the socioeconomic problems that plague South Africa have made it harder for people to live longer, especially in the late 90s. Music: "Summer" from Bensound.com
