Traders who supplied foodstuffs to police are demanding over 30 billion shillings owed by the institution. Speaking to the media, the chairperson of the traders, Badru Kisitu, revealed that they have not been paid since 2016. Kisitu says the banks have taken their properties for defaulting on loans. He is appealing to government, to address the plight of traders.
