Trukai Industries is engaging local farmers in Ramgiampum in Morobe Province in to promote locally produced rice. Ramgiampum, in the Umi Ajera Local Level Government, is part of three areas where Trukai is implementing rice projects to develop the Markham Valley Corridor for the country.
Ramgiampum is where the Markham Rice Project is - the other projects are in Poahum in Morobe and the Baiyer Rice Project in Western Highlands.
