Eat Pray Love author Elizabeth Gilbert on nursing a dying loved one | 7.30

Award-winning author Elizabeth Gilbert's life is something of an open book. Her best-known work is the memoir Eat Pray Love, but she has a new novel titled City of Girls which follows the lives of 1940s New York showgirls.

In this interview with 7.30’s Leigh Sales, she talks about the death of her partner, how her life has changed in the last 10 years and why female friendships can sometimes be magical.
