European Night Crawlers Get Perhaps the Most “Dangerous” Feeding Yet: Forbidden Foods Update

European Night Crawlers Get Perhaps the Most “Dangerous” Feeding Yet: Forbidden Foods Update #europeannightcrawlers #thecrazywormlady #wormcomposting #forbiddenfoods

A CLASSIC CWL SERIES, REVISITED— THE PREMISE:
One of my first successful and popular series on YoouTube was The Forbidden 🚫 Foods Experiment. So many resources tell us conflicting information on what can and cannot or should/should not be given to our worms.

My personal opinion is that if we make composting sound like it has too many rules, we are cutting down on likely “converts” to the hobby. I aim to show that in moderation (as with all things in life) it’s pretty hard to cause any harm, regardless of what you feed.

WEEK 4 AND THE MOST CONTROVERSIAL FEEDING YET!
Shock and awe “click-bait-y” today, but for good reason... we can’t prove a point if we can’t honestly say we have tested the limits and tried the things people are vehemently against. I certainly hope we don’t have any negative effects from this feeding however I can’t learn any other way.

A large area of escape for the worms is critical when feeding something new and unfamiliar. I will check on these guys frequently but I am hoping they will shock us all and handle this like champs. What do you think?

DONATIONS TO THE CAUSE:
♥️ Any help is always appreciated as I try to bring new, educational and quality content. If you ever feel so inclined to donate a few dollars to the cause it would mean the world to me! Thanks to the best subscribers & community around!

MY DRY MIX:
1. Neem cake: (excellent for bug control)
2. Diatomaceous Earth: (grit source and trace minerals- can also be good for bug control if kept dry)
3. Kelp meal: (trace minerals)
4. Oyster Shell: (grit and pH buffer)
