The organized effort to privatize and destroy California community colleges was the focus of a forum held on July 9, 2019 in San Francisco. Speakers included CCSF AFT 2121 lecturer Rick Baum, Peralta Federation of Teachers executive board member and Laney College lecturer John Holmes, retired Chico State & Skyline College AFT 1493 Professor and UPWA board member George Wright and SF City College Music department chair Madeline Mueller.
