Well... turns out.. the speed of light IS dependent upon the speed of the light source.
Every emission of light is a spherical burst.
But that sphere has a center point. And that center point propagates at the speed tangential to the velocity of the source.
The center of that sphere propagates on a rectilinear/straight line path. Being flung/ ejected from its source.
But at the same time… The sphere is expanding at the rate of c.
The center of the sphere is traveling away from the source and at the same time it is expanding at c.
If the boundary of that sphere or wavefront meets ANY resistance or interference… ( cosmic dust, radiation, plasma, anything) ... It ceases to exist at the point of interference... and a brand new emission bursts spherically outward from that point traveling relative with that interference. (Which could be traveling at a different speed and direction.)
And every re-emission is traveling c relative to Its source.
So, relative to the source.. The center of the sphere is propagating away at c. But the spherical wavefront that is expanding from that Center point is also propagating at c.
Thus the farthest point of the boundary/ of that expanding spherical wavefront is traveling x² relative to the source of the emission.
But the other half of that wave front on the other side of the sphere is expanding towards the source that it was emitted from. Which might be traveling at 1/2 x as it expands toward the source.
Any given source of light is most likely not traveling a significant fraction of the velocity of light itself. (relative to any given observer)
A particle cannot travel faster than the light from its own source.
If a particle is ejected or shed from an atom or matter… And a photon is emitted from that same matter at the same time in the same direction… Than the speed of the particle could not catch up with the wave front of its own light source.
ONLY in that respect is Einstein's perspective valid in regards to a speed limit but in proportion to its Own source.

Willfully dismissing the work of Dr. Edward Dowdye while continuing to believe in curved space and gravitational lensing... is akin to Flat Earthers dismissing Geodesy.
People who believe Relativity where light follows the curvature of space around a dense body also believe space is flat in between those dense bodies.
I call those people Flat Spacers.
Earth is not flat and neither is space.
Space is not a "thing" that curves.
This is a logical fallacy of reification. Trying to apply physical attributes to an abstract idea.
