In the K-pop fandom, you’ll quickly learn that K-pop fans are obsessed with MV views, sales, awards won, and other numbers. While numbers are facts and are great to use when determining how popular or successful a group is, many K-pop fans misinterpret these numbers.

Most K-pop fans just use simple numbers to compare: MV views and sales and nothing else. But just looking at those numbers alone is a huge mistake.
