In today's video, I went to the El Salvador international airport to record the interior of the new airport. It has gone under construction for a while now but it seems that under the new government, the process is picking up the pace. The interior of the airport looks almost done and completely different than what it used to be. This food court, where I recorded today has a great view to the airplane runway. The food court gets crowded at different times of the day and during the evenings or at night is when is not so crowded. Pizza hut, subway, pollo campero, are among the most popular restaurants located at this airport. El Salvador went through a devastating civil war in the decade of the 80's and early 90's and the post war governments didn't do maintenance work to the airport. If you ever visit El Salvador, try to stop by this food court that a good variety of shops that offer good food. You will enjoy the view that it has too. If I had to choose between eating at this food court upon arrival or departure, I would choose arrival because you tend to be more relax and you will enjoy you meal. El Salvador has and will be undergoing positive changes in many ways, so I invite you to visit this tiny Central American country that welcomes all the tourists that come here.
