Man Naruto Runs Past Reporter At Area 51 During Live News Broadcast + Memes

A man has been filmed Naruto running past a reporter near Area 51, the top secret US Air Force that people having jokingly planned to storm today in order to 'see them aliens'

The clip showed KTNV news reporter Joe Bartels reporting live from Rachel to cover the final preparations for Alienstock - the alien-themed festival planned to tie in with the Area 51 raid.

Bartels said: "There's lots of campers and RVs because there's no hotel rooms in this isolated area.

"But there are people, we're told, coming in from around the world and especially across the country interested to see what happens after that viral idea to storm Area 51 - that secret military base not far from here.

"Authorities are expecting up to 30,000 people to show up during the course of this three-day music festival which begins tonight."

But as he signed off the segment, explaining KTNV would be returning later that day with more coverage, he was upstaged brilliantly by an anonymous person behind him, Naruto running past the camera - a reference to the original event's description, which told people: "If we naruto run, we can move faster than their bullets. Let's see them aliens."

Many people clocked the dude in the background, with one person tweeting the clip and writing: "Who else are excited to see what happens with the Area 51 saga?? But this kid running past behind the reporter will definitely go down in history."

Another person said: "DID THAT MF JUST NARUTO RUN PAST THE REPORTER WHAT THE F*** IS THIS WORLD."

A third added: "SOMEONE DID NARUTO RUN BEHIND THE REPORTER LMAO."

The original 'Storm Area 51' event was scheduled for 20 September at 3am.

However, the American Air Force has said attempting to invade an 'open training range' is unsurprisingly a pretty bad idea.

According to The Independent, US Air Force spokesperson Laura McAndrews said: "[Area 51] is an open training range for the US Air Force, and we would discourage anyone from trying to come into the area where we train American armed forces."

While she didn't divuldge any specifics, McAndrews added ominously: "The US Air Force always stands ready to protect America and its assets."

County Commission Chairman Varlin Higbee also told the Las Vegas Review-Journal: "Oh, we're taking this seriously.

"With the possibility of 35,000 to 40,000 people showing up, yeah, this is serious."

Perhaps just stick to the music festival side of things to get your alien fix, eh?
