Detectives from the 3rd District Investigative Section continue to investigate the October 12 armed robbery of an adult female that occurred outside of a residence in the Briggs Chaney area. Today, investigators are releasing surveillance video of the robbery and are asking anyone with information regarding the suspects to contact detectives. On Saturday, October 12 at approximately 3:05 a.m., 3rd District officers responded to a residence in the 3700 block of Castle Terrace for the report of an armed robbery that had just occurred. The victim was outside the front door to a residence and about to enter when one of the four suspects approached her. The suspect struck the victim on the back of the head with a metal object and then continued to assault her as she fell to the ground. The suspect then stole the victim’s purse and fled the area on foot with the additional three suspects.
