Having lived on a 30 foot sailboat for 5 years without hot water, an indoor shower, air conditioning or even headroom for Jordan, we normally aren’t aware of what we’re missing. But after living in the United States for a month, with all of the luxuries of middle America, we wondered if Atticus would feel “too small” when we returned to Bocas Del Toro. We get back to Atticus with a rocky start-- there’s mold everywhere, the battery bank is acting up, and we have 200 pounds of stuff to figure out where to stow. So we roll up our sleeves and try to make Atticus feel like home again.
