Animal-assisted therapy dog Leo goes to the operating theatre

Leo Goes to Theatre' is a joint initiative between the Youth and Play Services and Animal Assisted Intervention teams at Southampton Children's Hospital. The short film highlights the journey to the operating theatre that a child or young person takes and Leo shows this in a fun and non-threatening way.

Using the human-animal bond in this way means the message is easier for patients to follow and we hope will help many patients.
