Coronary Heart Disease is the leading cause of death in many developed countries.

In this video, we’ll look at what this disease is and evaluate the treatments.

We’ll start with stents and statins, two treatments for CHD.

Then we’ll look at patients who have leaky valves and compare mechanical and biological replacement valves.

We’ll also discuss pacemakers and artificial hearts, considering why they aren’t a permanent solution.

Finally, I’ll test what you’ve understood with quick questions & answers.
