WELCOME to the Sword Nuzlocke:

RULE 1 -- When a Pokemon faints, they are considered dead and must be released.
RULE 2 -- I can only catch the first Pokemon I find per route*

Other important rules:
Rule 3 -- The No-Dupes clause: You cannot capture a Pokemon who you've already captured before (Or specifically, you cannot capture Pokemon who have a Pokeball next to their name). If the first Pokemon you encounter in a route has this Pokeball, you may attempt to capture another Pokemon.
Rule 4 -- I am allowed 1 item per battle.
Rule 5 -- Shiny Pokemon can be captured no matter what.
Rule 6 -- A "Game Over" will occur once ALL Pokemon cannot be used, meaning if I still have Pokemon in the box, I'm still in it.
