The Tories have now gone a step further and broken down that figure into an amount that will affect every single household. It is now suggested by the Conservatives that each household would have to pay an extra £2.4 thousand in tax every year Labour are in government in order to fund the party's policies.  TalkRADIO Political Correspondent Charlotte Ivers said: “The Conservatives do not have a positive policy announcement today but they do have a negative one attacking the Labour Party. "Now we heard over the weekend that Labour is going to cost this country £1.2trillion. "Which is a big number. "£1.2trillion is significant."  Mike Graham replied: "It is unimaginable." Ms Ivers continued: "It is literally unimaginably huge. "So what they have done today is they have divided that down by household. "They have said that every year under Labour you are going to have to pay £2.4 thousand more in tax.  "And they call that an entire months salary. "Which of course it is for most people. "It is actually more for most people." Earlier today Labour MP Tracy Brabin shockingly claimed "I’m not sure people are really concerned with the trillions and billions" in an interview on BBC2's Politics Live.  Trending  Tracy Brabin was discussing some of Labour's policies on education when she made the comments. She said: "What we are saying as well is I’m not sure people are really concerned with the trillions and billions. "Because actually if someone has got divorced somebody has been careering for their children and they want to go back to college and they can’t afford it now is the chance. "We have got real change and we’re going to throw open the doors to all those people who have been locked out."
