The Power of Incentive: Government As An Engineering Problem

The Power of Incentive: Government As An Engineering Problem The nature of government creates an incentive for corruption in politicians & corporations. So we spend a lot of time talking about alternatives to the state.

But the truth is, we have the government we have because the market continues to demand a powerful central authority.

And the market will continue to vote for that type of authority until we provide them with better alternatives.

Today I want to talk about the power of incentives. If we understand how people respond to incentives, we can begin working on solutions to the problems created by the state.
