So much that I can give my attention to that can lead to time being wasted and life passing me by.
I think asking myself 'Why am I doing this?' is a simple way to stop myself, be still and more intentional in my thoughts and actions, especially when I'm on auto-pilot or not being mindful.
I think this can help me spend my time, attention, and energy on the things that matter most. After all, there are only so many hours in the day and days in a life. I might as well make the most of it.
I'm going to remind myself of this question in the next couple of days to see if it makes a difference in how I fill my day. See if this is something that can make a difference in yours.
