Understanding the Concept of 'Born-Again and Baptism'|| John 3:1-21|| The   Book ofJohn In John 3, Jesus had a very intriguing conversation with Nicodemus, a teacher of the law. This conversation led Jesus to reveal unto us a very important concept; Born again. The phrase born-again has been so common unto us that we usually dont see the impact of that statement. Nicodemus realize how ridiculous that phrase meant so his response was; how can I enter into my mother womb and be born again. This means that for one to be born again, he or she must come from a womb.So to be born again, is to be born from the womb of the Holy Spirit. A child carries the DNA of the mother but the mother has to feed the child. The Holy Spirit doesn’t only give birth to you but feeds you; that is what we called Baptism of Holy spirit. Jesus reveals that a man must be born of water and of the spirit. Which means that there are two baptism that every individual or child of God must go through.
