Agenda Item 15: East Herts Council hastily adopts its illustrative master plan for Gresley Park (East of Gresley Way) Stevenage, despite a formal request for its adoption to be deferred for detailed consideration. In this video East Herts Council acknowledges a request by PACE (a Master Plan Steering Group Member) to defer its adoption to allow further consideration on highway matters.
The Steering Group, comprising elected and community representatives from both sides of the Gresley Way boundary was excluded from any discussion prior to its adoption. It thus challenges both the Council's own terms of reference for the EOS1 (Gresley Park) Masterplan Steering Group and the Council's wider policy of community engagement.
