If you want to learn how to tie a scarf to complete a plain coloured outfit, this is the tie for you. It looks more sophisticated than a regular wrap around your neck and stays in place due to being secured tightly. We used the square muslin scarf from our ‘Random Vibes’ collection.
Directions:
1. Fold the scarf in half diagonally.
2. Drape the triangle around your neck with one side shorter than the other.
3. Make a loose single knot in the short end of the scarf, about 5cm from the end.
4. Gather the other side loosely and form a loop about halfway along.
5. Push the loop through the knot on the opposite side and pull through to allow about 5cm of material exposed.
6. Tighten the knot and puff out the pulled through material to acquire the desired look.
