The OPEN Category - A2 CofC Explained - EASA | CAA Drone Regulations Update | Mr MPW What is the OPEN CATEGORY?

Can you now make money from your drone without doing a course and having permission from the CAA? (💪💪💪 Yes, if you've done the DMARES and are flying a drone in the A3 category, more than 150m away from uninvolved people! 💪💪💪)

Watch the video and (HOPEFULLY) things will begin to become clearer... Again, as with this entire series - we're getting the facts to you now and the detail and examples of the new regulations in practice will be coming in future videos as we start to wrap everything up! :)

***BIG POINT TO NOTE - any of our ICARUS Students who do their training with us between the new rules being announced and the change over will get their PfCO as planned AND we're going to give you all the option to come and do your A2 CofC for FREE with us too... So YOU get looked after, can operate between now and Jun 1st 2020 AND have the best of both worlds!***

The CAA announced the transition process to the new EASA compliant Drone Regulations last week, to the current NQEs. The changes are going to cause lots of headaches and a degree of pain when they kick in... But, we genuinely think that the changes are for the best and are going to help the drone industry REALLY start to thrive and grow, moving forward!

We're going to try and break these down over the next week or so and make things as simple as possible to understand...
