The belt finally gave out on my car and I thought I would be one of the safe ones. After 16k miles, I finally heard the famous chirp, burning, smell, battery light, and rising coolant temps. The car is currently being fixed at the dealer for this issue and should be back home soon. In the meantime I hope this video helps some of you understand what to look for because, no one is safe from the 2016-2017s from my understanding and possibly some 18 models as well.
