How Can You Gain Power & Frame Control In ANY Conversation

How Can You Gain Power & Frame Control In ANY Conversation Hey Bulldogs! John Sonmez from Bulldog Mindset Here, where I teach you how to go from the Victim Mindset to the Bulldog Mindset.

So let's talk about power, how to maintain power and how to keep it in any conversation, the main idea is that when you lose emotional control you lose power, you give up to your irrational self and tend to make statements and arguments that are not based on rationality and logic.

Where we end up defaulting to authoritarian displays of power plays that can display anger where it can get physical.

And that the weakest state you can be at, where you lose all your power and frame in the conversation, because it show that you have no longer and power or frame control other than the use of physical dominance or physical manipulation.

One of the keys that allows you to gain power and frame control in any conversation is emotional mastery, when you're in conversation with someone and trying to have them so something you need to leverage your logical approach or authority in order to make them comply and follow with your demands.

When you resort to physical action and lose temper over your emotions then you make cloudy decisions that aren't beneficial to you, it means that the other person is able to push your buttons making you the puppet and he's the puppeteers.

Even if you get the other person to go through with what you want, you already lost control of the frame, he is the one in control now, he knows how to play you without lifting a finger ad that's something that gives you a huge advantage in any conversation.

Another key is to ignore any kind of opposition. Meaning if you're in a conversation and someone else jumped disagreeing with you, instead of validating them and jumping on the defense, you should brush it off and ignore it, as if it never happened.

Now if they decide to keep pushing up their point then you can respond with a decisive statement or action, and that's the real test here, to see how you're gonna act and respond.

There are other situation where you don't have the authority or power but you have to mock it up, make a bluff, where essentially you don't have any way of backing it up, so when you're exposed you will have to resort to lower level of power like intimidation fear or violence. And that's is your last resort.

And the thing to remember here is that if people know that you're a stoic level headed person, but they know that you're capable of violence whether they've witnessed it personally or heard about it from someone else, they won't mess with you.

I will tell you a story of a acting coach of mine who really illustrate this point on how this play a point in conversations and the ability to intimidate without really resorting to any kind of physical acts or violence.

Well that's all from me today don't forget to leave a like, subscribe ring the bell and I'll see you in the next video!
