Democratic Party criticizes gov’t proposal to regulate coffee growing The opposition Democratic Party has criticized government over the proposed regulation of the coffee growing in the country. under the new policy, coffee farmers will all be required be registered and get permits before engaging coffee production. However, the Democratic Party leadership is concerned that such a move will only push local producers out of business in favor of foreigners.
