SELTOS the very first offering of the south Korean car maker KIA in India is a featured loaded premium compact SUV.
Kia Seltos Variants
The SUV will be offered in GT Line and Tech Line variants. Now, these two will be further divided into various other trims depending on features.
Kia Seltos Features
By now most of us know that Seltos will be loaded with features. The SUV gets the iconic Kia tiger-nose grille up front, with LED headlamps, LED DRLs and ice cube LED fog lamps. There are LED taillights and dual exhaust pipes at the rear. The cabin gets features like 10.25-inch touchscreen audio video navigation system with an 8-speaker Bose sound system, three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, 8-inch HUD (Heads Up Display), EPS (Electronic Power Steering), cruise control, blind-spot view monitor, eco coating and push-button start/stop.
Kia Seltos Engine and Transmission
The upcoming SUV boasts of several engine options. There is a 1.4-litre Turbo GDI petrol engine making 140 hp and 242 Nm of torque. Then, there is a 1.5-litre petrol motor producing 115 hp and 144 Nm of torque. The diesel option is a 1.5-litre powertrain making 115 hp and 250 Nm of torque. Now, all the three engines get a standard 6-speed manual gearbox, along with automatic transmission options.
Kia Seltos UVO Connect
Like several recently-launched vehicles, Seltos also gets connected car technology. It boasts of UVO Connect system that has 37 features covering five categories -- Navigation, Safety and Security, Vehicle Management, Remote Control and Convenience. Kia Motors will provide UVO Connect subscription free of cost for the first three years.
