Cincinnati Museum Center is honoring John A. Ruthven, best known for his wildlife art, with the inaugural John A. Ruthven Medal of the Distinction. Named for Ruthven, this award will be given to people who have made significant contributions to our institution. In this video, John Ruthven accepts the award, given to him in commemoration of his 84 year association with CMC. During this time, he has added significantly to our collections, participated in scientific expeditions, served as a trustee, and has been a dedicated advocate.
