The Kia Seltos has gone on to stack up over 50,000 bookings, just a few weeks after its prices were announced. The 2019 Seltos features an expansive list of goodies. Outside it gets features like full LED headlights, LED DRLs, LED tail lamps, LED fog lamps, a sunroof and 17-inch alloy wheels. Inside, highlights include an 8-inch heads up display, 7-inch digital instrument cluster, 8-10.25-inch touchscreen options, an air purifier with a perfume diffuser, sound mood lighting, ambient lighting, auto AC with rear AC vents, 2 step recline adjustment for the rear seat, a power adjustable driver’s seat and the ‘UVO connect’ connected car features, among several others.
The Kia Seltos is available with a 1.5-litre petrol, a 1.5-litre diesel engine & a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine as well. While all the engines come with a 6-speed manual transmission as standard, they also get unique automatic transmission options. The 1.5 petrol gets a CVT, the 1.5 diesel gets a 6-speed torque converter, while the 1.4 turbo-petrol engine gets the option of a 7-speed DCT automatic. All the engines are BS6 compliant and the Seltos is a front-wheel drive only SUV.
