We all know lake-effect snow events are apart of winter here in the Great Lakes region, especially in the months of November and December. Extremely heavy snow and blizzard conditions tend to occur with these types of snowstorms. However, there is one thing you just don't expect with a lake-effect snowstorm; tornadoes. So what if a lake-effect snowstorm caused parts of snow squalls to develop supercellular characteristics and create an even greater danger to people during a major snow event?
