Mumias Sugar Company receiver manager is calling on the Senate to compel former directors of the firm to disclose crucial documents which contain the troubled miller’s state-of-affairs. Ponangapalli Venkata Ramana Rao has told Senators that illegal withholding of the documents by former directors is denting efforts to turn around the firm as he has been unable to among others compensate 400 workers who have been laid off.
