President Uhuru orders reduction of tax burden on MSMEs

President Uhuru Kenyatta has directed treasury and the Kenya revenue authority to embark on an overhaul of Kenya’s tax regime with a view of reducing the burden on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. Speaking during celebrations to mark this year’s Jamhuri, the president said the Government is focused unlocking bottlenecks that are holding back the potential of Kenyan enterprises.
