TAXI APPS: Firms to set minimum rate for drivers and limit them to 8 hour drive time Digital Taxi Firms Will Be Required To Have A Physical Presence In The Country And Have A Minimum Rate That Governs Drivers. This Is According To Proposed Regulations By The National Transport Authority. Applications Such As Uber Charge A Commission Of 15 Percent On The Fare That A Commuter Pays Per Trip. This Has In The Past Contributed To Industrial Action. Besides Having Tax Compliance Certificates, Drivers Will Have To Be Licensed By Ntsa. A Driver Will Also Be Restricted From Working For More Than Eight Consecutive Hours In A Twenty Four Hour Period.
