This first video out of 4 videos will explain the differences between a Flexible and Rigid Diaphragm Design. We also do a demonstration of both type of design inside the software. Shearwalls automatically generates seismic and / or wind loads, distributes them to shearlines based on flexible and rigid diaphragm analysis, and designs wood shearwalls with or without hold-downs at openings to resist them.
