Michael Lobo: Candolim Bundh to be strengthened, renovated & beautified

The expenditure sanction and work order has been issued to strengthen, renovate and beautify a 1.5 km long bundh in Candolim at a cost of Rs 3.68 crore. The project will be completed within 14 months.

Certain designated spots will be earmarked for anglers. Locals can come with their fishing rods and participate in their favourite sport. The tourists who come to the spot can be charged a nominal fee which could be used
for maintenance of the bundh. Locals will be allowed to visit the spot free of cost.
