Hemet police officer was dispatched to North Kirby for a 5150 female subject. When Arrived and attempted to detain the lady she got physical with the officer and pulled a large kitchen knife and cut the officer in his wrist area . 11-11 all officers call was dispatched over the radio for back up . Once all officers arrived they were able to take the female subject into custody who was also treated for medical on scene and was transported to jail.
The officer was treated by Fire and Amr medics on scene and was transported to Hemet Hospital via AMR ambulance for deep laceration to his arm and wrist.
